Watch Haseen Dillruba and find out for yourself. The film stars Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Harshvardhan Rana.

Ittefaq is one of the most underrated Bollywood thriller movies that deserves to be watched. Two convicts, two different stories, two murders; whom to believe? Ittefaq takes us on a chilling roller coaster ride. The film happens in limited surroundings and yet captures our attention throughout. Ittefaq, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Siddharth Malhotra, and Akshay Khanna is a film that you cannot miss.

Talaash is a Hindi psychological crime thriller that is directed by Rima Kagti and co-written by Zoya Akhtar. Inspector Surjan Singh Shekhawat (played by Aamir Khan) has been tasked to solve the murder of a movie star but has to deal with sex with a worker named Rosie (Kareena Kapoor Khan) as he processes the grief of losing his son. The film plays mind games with us throughout before we can process what has happened.

It goes without saying that Andhadhun is one of the best Hindi thriller movies to ever exist. Directed by the maestro in this genre, Sriram Raghavan, Andhadhun is a captivating thriller about a musician who accidentally witnesses a murder. With several twists and turns, Andhadhun keeps us on the edge of our seats. Ayushmann Khuranna and Tabu deliver their finest performances.

5. Race (2008)

Exploring the theme of sibling rivalry, love, and passion, Race is an action thriller movie that is going to leave you bowled over. The film has a stellar cast including Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Khanna, Bipasha Basu, and others. With several twists and turns throughout, Race keeps us hooked till the very end.

6. Kahaani (2012)

A pregnant woman comes to Kolkata in search of her missing husband, who coincidentally has an uncanny resemblance with a wanted terrorist. In the aesthetic backdrop of Kolkata, Vidya Bagchi (played by Vidya Balan) and the police set out to search for her husband. We feel a rush of emotions towards the end and that is why Kahaani is one of my favorite Bollywood thriller movies.

Naina Sethi (played by Taapsee Pannu) is a successful businesswoman who has been accused of murdering her lover. Her lawyer tries to get to the crux of the case in order to understand how he should proceed in court. Most of the film is about the conversations between them trying to decode the entire incident. Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan have done a wonderful job and the movie is a clear winner.

8. Don (2006)

This modern-day remake of the classic 1978 film unfolds with a fresh twist, thanks to Khan’s charismatic portrayal of the enigmatic Don. The plot brims with intrigue as the lines between hero and villain blur, and you find yourself questioning alliances and motives at every turn.

As Khan steps into the shoes of the cunning criminal mastermind, he delivers a performance that’s a rollercoaster of emotions.

9. A Wednesday (2008)

A Wednesday takes a distinctive approach to the thriller genre, crafting tension through a battle of wits and ideologies. Naseeruddin Shah’s portrayal of an unnamed common man on a mission to challenge the system is a masterclass in acting. The film’s narrative unfolds primarily through dialogue, drawing you into a gripping exchange between the ordinary and the extraordinary.

10. Karthik Calling Karthik (2010)

Karthik Calling Karthik takes a dive into psychological thriller territory, giving us a glimpse into the mind of its titular character, Karthik, portrayed by Farhan Akhtar. The film’s premise, where an introverted and tormented individual suddenly starts receiving mysterious phone calls from himself, sets the stage for an exploration of identity, isolation, and the shadows that linger within.
