Amazon Prime Video has announced its new shows and I can’t keep calm!
What makes the new lineup of series by Amazon Prime Video so exciting is how it is bringing our much-loved stars from the big screens to the small screens. Also, these shows are directed by some of the biggest names in the industry, which makes them even more promising. Here’s a list of all the shows announced by Amazon Prime.
Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathy, I mean what an unlikely combination! These brilliant actors are coming together to mark their digital debut with Farzi which will be directed by Raj & DK. The show is a thriller about a small-time writer working from his grandfather’s printing press who gets pulled into the dark world of crimes. My hopes are all high for this one.
With Dootha, Telugu actor Nagachaithanya will be seen making his digital debut, and Malayalam actor Parvathy Thiruvothu too will mark her online presence with Dootha. The show is supposedly a horror series where possessed inanimate objects pose a threat to people’s lives. Prachi Desai will also be seen in a prominent role in Dootha.
Directed by Rima Kagti, Dahaad stars Sonakshi Sinha as a cop who is on a mission to find a serial killer who has shaken her to the core. Rima has also co-written the show along with Ruchika Oberoi.
4.Hush Hush (Hindi)
An unforeseen event leads to the lives of five women coming together and bringing to the limelight their deepest darkest secret. Hush Hush starring Juhi Chawla, Karishma Tanna, Shahana Goswami, and Soha Ali Khan tells the story from a more feminine perspective.
5. Indian Police Force (Hindi)
Rohit Shetty’s cop movies have always been celebrated on the big screens. Now he is coming back with yet another cop-action drama but this time as an OTT series! Indian Police Force will star Sidharth Malhotra as Kabir Malik, a Delhi-based cop.
