Teddy is a medical action thriller starring Arya and Sayyesha in the lead roles. The film is refreshing with its animation and unique storytelling. Sree’s (played by Sayyesha) soul gets transferred to a Teddy bear (I know right!) and she goes to Shiva (played by Arya) for help. Shiva is a person with sharp learning skills and helps Sree find out about her whereabouts. The film is directed by Shakthi Soundar Rajan.

In OK Kanmani, Mani Ratnam veers away from his usual narrative of tragedy and communal conflict and presents a rom-com that appeals more to the younger audience. The film stars Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen. The film was remade in Hindi as OK Jaanu starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
