1.Uma Maheshwaraay Ugra Roopasya
Uma Maheshwaraay Ugra Roopasya is what happens when Dileesh Pothen- Fahad Faasil’s movie Maheshinte Prathikaram gets a Telugu perspective. Though a remake, Uma Maheshwaraay Ugra Roopasya doesn’t compromise the authenticity of the original movie. There is no added artificial flavor and that’s what makes the film so enjoyable.

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is the story of four childhood friends who give a second shot at their long-lost dream of filmmaking. It’s an exciting buddy-drama movie that inspires us to dream. If you are in the mood for a feel-good movie, this one would be a perfect choice.
5. Adhugo
When animals star in movies, there is a certain level of excitement about it, isn’t it? Adhugo is a movie that has a piglet as the lead. The piglet is misplaced in the courier and reaches the hands of a young girl. How things turn out after that is what Adhugo explores. Adhugo also happens to be the first film featuring a live-action 3D animated title character.
6. Oh! Baby
Let’s just agree, Samantha is the cutest South Indian actress out there. Oh! Baby takes her cuteness to another horizon. Oh! baby is the story of an old woman who miraculously turns young one night. Now young, she finds it hard to struggle with the norms of the new world. The film is funny, sweet, and nostalgic.
7. Baahubali – Part 1 and Part 2
It is a little unfair to tag Baahubali as a ‘Telugu’ film. Though the team involved in the making is purely Telugu, Baahubali is a national film, a film that can be proudly claimed by every citizen of the country. The film was released in two parts with the second part continuing right from where the first part left off. With breathtaking visuals, a gripping storyline, and a stellar cast, Baahubali is undoubtedly a cult classic movie that can’t be missed at any cost.
8. Uppena
Vijay Sethupathy has earned himself the title of ‘Makkal Selvan‘ with his mesmerizing performances in Tamil cinema. With Uppena he is all set to expand his territory to Telugu cinema as well. It is inspiring to see him explore his actor side more than the star side. His experimental roles are leaving us in awe. Uppena is just an addition to the list. He plays the cruel father to the heroine of Uppena who is against her romantic relationship with a low caste boy. The movie is exciting and explores several layers of different issues that exist in our society.
